 The Vatican releases a limited number of tickets per day so we suggest you book this tour as soon as possible to secure your tickets. Please be aware your tour will be confirmed in order to secure a car and driver for your excursion. This does not mean the Vatican portion of your tour is confirmed. This trip allows you to see the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. Your exact itinerary for the day will depend on what time the tickets at the Vatican will be arranged for. That time will be determined after the tour is confirmed. Normally this visit includes the Cortile della Pigna, Belvedere, Pio Clementino Museum, the Gallery of Candelabra, the Gallery of Tapestries, the Gallery of Maps, and Raphael's Rooms.  Because of the way the traffic inside the Museums is regulated, at some times certain portions are closed off, so please note the itinerary can change from time to time. Of course, you will end at the Sistine Chapel!
For the rest of the day you will be able to stop and start as you like or use your driver for his knowledge of the area, which he knows well. If you prefer to have a licensed guide during the balance of your day in Rome, which is approximately 3 hours, you may request this as you make your booking.
Due to the fact that pre-reserved tours of the Vatican are limited, the tickets are on a first come first serve availability. The earlier you book this tour the better your chance of obtaining the tickets.
